Norm Architects Prime bathroom collection

A minimalist bathroom range- designed by Norm Architects

Continuing to expand a product portfolio of my dreams, here we see the launch of Norm Architects Prime bathroom collection for Spanish company Inbani. Norm Architects previous collection for Ex.t saw inspiration from 1930’s elegance and a twist of modernism. This new collection for Inbani has a more organic feel maintaining a refined organic and modernist design aesthetic.

“Drawing inspiration from antique metal bathtubs with the typical rolled edge. We recently finished a new line of sanitary ware for Inbani titled Prime. The line includes two bathtubs and a sink design that is a contemporary interpretation of the of the antique tubs. The soft outer shape of all the items is inspired by the how the pressure of water shapes an elastic material like e.g. a filled water balloon. This natural and recognisable shape of the designs along with the soft rolled edge makes the pieces extraordinarily appealing to the human eye, as well as inviting, familiar and modern at the same time.” -norm

The Prime collection includes washbasins available in 3 sizes. A circular 45cm or oval 60cm basin with options to be mounted on top of a unit or under mounted. There’s also a 70cm wall mounted version too, oh the possibilities!

The bath wastes can be in the centre or at one end, depending on if you’re wanting single or double end bath. The Prime bath weighs an impressive 178kg. Please check the structural weight of the floor if you wish to get one. A builder can help with that. There we go, nerdy bit over but these things matter SO much when designing a bathroom.

I’m in awe of Norm Architects Prime bathroom collection. I only wish that I had used these in my designs. Maybe I’ll keep these designs on my list for the next project!

This is a lovely bathroom range, the minimalist design is very fetching and leaves a lot of possibilities, it’s like blank canvas that you can build your bathroom around. The collection exhibits smooth, simplicity yet harness very modern technology to give a luxurious experience.
