Scandinavian clothing rails

Scandinavian clothing rails

Having moved into a new build home with little to no storage, I’ve had to bring in furniture that does the job and that looks pretty too. Everything is on display, but I’m also refusing to build in a huge wardrobe as we may not live here that long. Plus it’s pretty obvious that any built in furniture and some affordable flat pack solutions don’t travel to new homes that well. My solution, Scandinavian clothing rails. This may seem a little 1995 but clothing rails have improved a lot since then. Equally to the delight of many minimalists, these rails can make any home look great, for storage or just for show.

love, love, love these rails. My only problem I am such a matchy matchy person all the clothes on display would have to be the same colour ! xx

Yes! I have no built-in storage in my home either, and while my clothes are currently hung on a cheap Ikea rail I need to upgrade to a chic Scandi-style option – any of the above would do very nicely.. xx

I have a clothing rail myself and it’s actually really rather nice that I can see everything I have rather than digging around a dark wardrobe! xx

I love the ones from Anna Leena! So elegant. I couldn’t afford one when I redecorated our hallway, so I made my own version (sorry Anna Leena). But we will definitely get one for our house when it’s finished! http://www.notetoself.no/2016/08/04/a-sneaky-diy-clothing-rail/
