a simple Scandinavian table setting

a simple Scandinavian table setting

When considering tableware and cutlery I have a very fixed style in mind. Yes you guessed it, simplicity. This is no easy task, simplicity can be done badly especially when compromising on detail and quality. My search for the perfect tableware led me to Menu and their new norm dinnerware and cutlery designed by Norm Architects. Norm Architects are known for their modernist simplicity and quality in design even down to a spoon. They’ve featured numerous time on my blog, what can I say, I’m a fan of their work. I’ve chosen simple white plates and mat stainless steel cutlery, pairing it with felt place mats and my raw oak dining table. Understated and considered, a perfectly simple Scandinavian table setting.

Think about the small details in your home such as your cutlery and plates. Items you use daily. Are they well considered, made to last? more importantly do you like using them?
